FARR WEST
image studio designer

For nearly 35 years, Lindsey Roscoe has continued to design luxurious intimate apparel. Lindsey began working at the company's inception with her parents and founders, Jack and Iris Farr. She graduated from Syracuse University's School of Visual and Performing Arts with a BFA in Fashion Design and a minor in painting in 1974.

By 1979, Lindsey was the head designer with her own Lindsey Roscoe brand. During that same year she worked with Roy Raymond, the founder of Victoria's Secret, developing his first private label collection. Under Lindsey's direction, Farr West has produced all categories of intimate apparel including daywear, bra and panty sets, sleepwear, loungewear, and robes. She became CEO in 2000 when her parents retired.

Ultimately Farr West created the perfect niche in the innerwear market by focusing on anti-cling daywear styles such as half-slips, camisoles, and full slips. Lindsey designs under three registered trademarks: Farr West — an essential collection of beautifully made anti-cling camisoles, half slips, and full slips; Lindsey Roscoe — a collection known for carefully selected quality lace trims; and the Lindsey Luxe label — a designer luxury collection of silk daywear, baby soft cotton interlock sleepwear, and the "New Line" collection featuring a stretch anti-cling charmeuse that Lindsey developed exclusively for Farr West.

Lindsey draws inspiration from the spectacular Santa Cruz coastline where she lives and works. Her palette often reflects stones and shells found on the beach. "We use only the finest laces and fabrics from around the world. I want each garment to feel sensuous to the touch, fit beautifully, and be meticulously crafted. Our studio and workshop are located on the Monterey Bay in California which makes it easy for us to respond quickly to trends and to our customers' needs. We take particular pride in producing high quality products made in the USA."
